Access Controls (UK) Limited

What is access control?

Many will not be aware of the industry terminology that is used to describe access control systems and products. Access Control is the deliberate restriction of access to a specified area, door, barrier, gate, turnstile, machine etc. by the use of electronic devices. Access control systems ensure that only authorised personnel are allowed access to specific areas, such as Car Parks, Computer Suites and R & D Areas, as well as just main entrance doors to buildings, clubs etc. Not only does access control protect your property, it also provides employees with reassurance for physical and personal effects protection.

From single door systems, right up to multi-door, multi-area systems that are controlled and administrated remotely, we have the system to meet your requirements.

Access Controls (UK) Limited do not rely on any single supplier of access control products, instead we concentrate on finding the best systems and the most reliable suppliers. We do however, design and program our own swipe cards, proximity cards and key fobs, in-house. That way we can offer a bespoke service to our customers with a turnaround time for cards and fobs that is just a couple of days.

We offer a wide range of systems, from simple digital keypads up to biometric control systems. We can also supply cards and other operating tokens for a wide range of systems that may have been installed by others. If an access control system has failed and the original installation company is no longer available, we can also provide a new control system to operate with the existing cards or key fobs. This saves the requirement to replace the entire system and all of the cards that have been issued. As the cards can sometimes represent the most expensive portion of a system, the ability to provide a new controller can often realise considerable savings.
